The defendant may request the information in their file which is known as "discovery". Discovery forms can be found by scrolling down to the bottom of this page. Please download and complete the form for the correct county. You may fax, mail or hand deliver the completed form. The defendant will be notified once the discovery is ready. The defendant must bring a valid photo ID to the District Attorney’s office to process the discovery. If the defendant is unable to pick up the discovery in person, a notarized letter authorizing a third party to pick up discovery will be required. If the defendant lives out of the area, s/he will need to provide a scanned copy of photo ID to get discovery mailed. If the defendant has already retained an attorney, the discovery will be provided to the attorney upon their entry of appearance and defendant does need not apply for discovery.
